We updated this 1940's Bungalow Bathroom with a fresh, clean look. Keeping with the Retro feel by using the hexagon tile, but also making it more light and bright with a tiled walk-in shower, custom mosaic and marble niches, updated sconces and fixtures and custom designed cabinets for added storage.

This Guest Bedroom represents the Casual Elegance of the South. Modern, Antique and Vintage pieces were mixed to create a warm, relaxing and inviting Suite. Atop the custom cut wool area rug, specially crated linens from the finest fabrics adorn the wrought iron bed. The windows are covered with custom made draperies and Roman shades to add color to the space.

Marble and Glass accessories were used to enhance the gorgeous vanity area. Grey cabinets and walls set a relaxing background for the touches of Greens and Blues sprinkled about. Custom patterned sheers were made for the small window for privacy, yet still allowing the natural light to come in.

A wall was constructed where the door was creating the mirror wall. We rearranged the plumbing, tripling the size of the bathroom. A grand window was added for natural light. The tiny shower was expanded to a spa like standup with a marble wall shelf for storage. The client also gained a large closet on the other side.

The bar was constructed out of a dramatic solid wood. A Knight in Shining Armour was added to stand guard over the beverages. A grand custom made King Henry VIII portrait frames the cozy stone fireplace. The bar was styled with a mix of new and Old World pieces.

Relocating the mirror to another space we lightened the walls with Romo silk wallpaper and hung new Jim Thompson draperies. The table was changed and is now in better proportion to the room. Custom upholstered chairs were added. The head chairs are antique Mouton chairs from France recovered with linen. We kept the antique Armenian rug which adds warmth to the room.

A tired space got a facelift by adding new, more modern, furniture and reupholstering a few of the owners pieces with handpicked fabric. The bold patterns take center stage and are balanced by the neutral palette. New accessories were used to tie the room together.

The builder grade fireplace was upgraded to a hand carved stone, wood burning fireplace. We also added the fabulous antique painting over the mantel for color and drama. The darker sofa adds the much needed contrast. We restyled the book cases using a mix of the clients items and new accents. Fortuny pillows were custom made to give a final touch of color.

The wallpaper adds drama to an otherwise dull space. The mirror was to small and long. We picked a huge over scaled, antique Louis Philippe mirror to command the space. The final touch was a modern chandelier to create an elegant mood.

We installed new cabinetry, paint, tile backsplash, and new appliances. We had to get a little creative with the pipes and vents running on the ceiling, so we added a floating ceiling on the right-hand side of the photo to cover them.

We oversaw and directed a complete kitchen gut and remodel. We installed new soft-close cabinetry, brand new appliances, recessed can lighting, lantern light fixtures, laminate wood flooring, and an island with a slide in range and overhead range hood. We repainted the interior and designed the kitchen to meet the clients'  expectations.

This bathroom remodel was such a dream! We are able to remove a pony wall blocking off the toilet and the window and open up the bathroom to feel more spacious and have more natural lighting, We also gutted the shower, floors, one of the closets, vanity, mirror, and fixtures. In replacement, we installed all new tile in the shower, walls, backsplash and the floors. A new quartzite countertop and shower bench were installed. Fresh paint brightened up the interiors. We installed all new lighting and faucet fixtures. Door and cabinet hardware helped tie it all together!

During the design process for this family room, we thought it would be best to keep a transitional theme in mind while pulling in some bold details. For example, the beautiful French Country cabinet and the mega modern cocktail table. All of the upholstered furniture in this room was custom made. Our favorite is the traditional wing-back chair with a modern twist, which we call the "Heron Chair"
